Here our goal is too keep the love up to iCarly's favorite bickering duo! Here's a little information on our characters:
Samantha "Sam" Puckett: is Carly's best friend and co-host of iCarly. She frequently gets into trouble, bullies other kids at school, and shows blatant lack of regard for rules. She claims that she was born on a city bus and has been arrested three times. Almost everyone in her family is either in prison or on parole. Sam often relies on Carly and Freddie to get her out of trouble (as seen in episodes such as iPilot and iOwe You). Sam can be selfish, lazy, obnoxious, and somewhat indifferent to others' feelings. However, she is also lighthearted and funny and capable of coming through for her friends when needed. In iMake Sam Girlier, she shows her loyalty to her friends by defending them against a bully tougher than her, even though it almost cost her the boy, who was impressed by her aggressive side, whom she is attracted to. In "iTwins", it is revealed and shown that she has an identical twin sister named Melanie Puckett, who is Sam's polar opposite. Her first kiss was shared with Freddie. Sam loves to bug Freddie in a way that is unexplainable, but as seen in episodes (such as iReunite with Missy) she truly cares for him and trusts him, they relationship has grown since the first season.
Fredward "Freddie" Benson: is the technical producer of iCarly. Freddie is somewhat of a nerd; he takes his school work very seriously and is the technology "buff" of the show. Despite his characterization as a nerd, many girls at his school are attracted to him (and as a result are all insulted by Sam). His mother is overbearing, overprotective and domineering of him. Freddie has openly had a crush on Carly since before the pilot episode. Whenever this is mentioned, Carly insists that she only wants to be Freddie's friend. However, after Carly dumps a boy at a school dance in "iSpeed Date", she and Freddie share a slow dance at the Groovy Smoothie. Although Freddie and Sam have a strained "frenemy" relationship, in the episode iKiss, Freddie and Sam kiss after realizing that neither have had their first kiss. Freddie has conflicting emotions towards both girls.
